One suspected NSCN-R held after heavy exchange of fire in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, January 11: One suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Reformation) cadre was apprehended after a heavy exchange of fire between Indian Army and the militant outfit at Kenon Basti under Namtok Police Station in Changlang district in Arunachal Pradesh in the wee hours on Friday, sources said.
Police recovered one .32 pistol, three rounds bullets, one driving license including other objectionable items from his possession.
As per information, as many as eight suspected NSCN-R had taken shelter in the area.
The NSCN-R was formed on April 6, 2015.
