No Syndicate In Forest Department, Asserts Parimal Suklabaidya

Assam Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya on July 10th, 2019 claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led state government has gained success in curbing alleged syndicate in the forest department.

“Our government has been able to curb alleged syndicate in the forest department. The revenue that the state government has earned in recent times proved it,” Suklabaidya said while reiterating the government’s ‘zero-tolerance policy against corruption’.

The minister, while talking about the regularization of contractual forest employees’ appointment, said that the department will take necessary steps in the matter soon.

Talking about the alleged irregularities in the regularization of the contractual appointments, Suklabaidya said, “If anybody has any evidence then come forward. We will definitely take action.”

The minister further announced Rs 25000 award for a person who can give information about any corrupted forest official.
