At least seven persons including a minor sustained serious injuries and one died on the spot after a Tata Sumo Gold passenger vehicle coming from the neighbouring state of Arunachal Pradesh(AR)’s Tezu, lost control and rammed into a divider in the morning hours of August 28th, 2019.
As per initial reports, the vehicle bearing registration number AR-04A7444 overturned near Assam’s Biswanath district along the National Highway 15 today morning.
The driver of the vehicle—Kalu succumbed to his injuries.
The injuried identified as Moina Boro(33), Lamu Pada(45), Sanjay Sagar(50), Chumpi Gumpa(44), Moina Tana(12), Parmu Laju(50) and Ramijami Lahmu(22) were immediately rushed to the nearby Biswanath Primary Health Care Unit.
Meanwhile, a police team reached the spot and are investigating the matter. A tow truck was used to move the damaged vehicle and help clear the Highway.
