    PM Modi biopic to be ‘first film’ to hit theatres

    Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the prime minister, will be the “first film” to hit theatres on October 15, after government has lifted the COVID-19 induced restrictions.

    Guwahati: Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the prime minister, will be the “first film” to hit theatres on October 15, after government has lifted the COVID-19 induced restrictions.

    In the movie, which was first released on May 24 last year, Oberoi plays the titular role of PM Modi, essaying as many as nine different looks.

    The movie also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Barkha Bisht, Rajendra Gupta and Zarina Wahab.

    Produced by Sandip singh, anand Pandit and Suresh Oberoi, the biopic showcases PM Modi’s political journey.

    The Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Thursday gave its green light for reopening of theatres after long pandemic-induced lockdown. A number of standard operating procedures (SOPs) have also been issued in light of the same, which have to be followed by cinema halls before starting their business.
