PM Modi To Arrive Guwahati To Inaugurate AIIMS Construction Work

Guwahati, February 7, 2019

As per the schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive here in Guwahati on February 8th, 2019 for a whirlwind tour of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura to inaugurate several projects and address a public rally.

As per information, Modi will stay the February 8th, 2019 night at Raj Bhawan and on February 9th, 2019 will fly to Itanagar – the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Modi will lay the foundation of a greenfield airport at Hollongi in Arunachal Pradesh’s Parum Pare district and will return to Guwahati on the same day afternoon. Later, the PM is scheduled to lay foundation of a six-lane bridge over mighty river Brahmaputra and kick-off construction work of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Changsari.

Sources said, Modi will also inaugurate Numaligarh Refinery Ltd’s bio-diesel refinery and the Barauni-Guwahati gas pipeline connecting northeast with the national gas grid. Later, Modi is scheduled to fly to Tripura from here to address a public rally.
