    Exchange Of Fire Between Forest Officials, Poachers At Orang National Park, 1 Dead

    A dreaded poacher was shot dead in an exchange of fire between the forest department and poachers at the Orang National Park on the night of September 27th, 2019.

    The body of the poacher who is yet to be identified was recovered today morning and has been sent to the Mangaldoi Civil hosdpital for an autopsy.

    One 303 rifle, a bag, an axe and 5 live rounds have been recovered from his possession.
