After more than two decades, a poultry and livestock exhibition will be held in Guwahati. The four-day-long event will be held at the playground of the College of Veterinary Science in Khanapara from November 7th to 10th, 2019.
Announcing this on September 20th, 2019, Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora said, “The exhibition will be held for the first time after a gap of 24 years. This will definitely give a fillip to the agriculture sector by providing a bigger platform to the farmers.”
As per information, the Union Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Giriraj Singh, Governor Jagadish Mukhi and state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will attend the biggest poultry and livestock exhibition event.
