    Price of Purabi Milk Hiked By Rs 4 Per Litre In Assam

    The new price of 500 ml Purabi Standard Milk will be Rs 27 and 500 ml Purabi Smart Milk will be Rs 25

    The Purabi dairy, located in Guwahati, has hiked the price of Purabi milk by Rs 4 per litre with effect from November 19th, 2019.

    “Prices of Purabi milk and dairy products have been retained since 2016-17, despite the significant increase in the cost of inputs and other expenditures such as transportation, processing, manpower, packaging and distribution etc. To ensure the much-cherished quality of Purabi milk and dairy products, the West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union LTD (WAMUL) is now constrained to revise the maximum retail price (MRP) of its Purabi brand milk and milk products,” a press communiqué issued by the authority stated.

    The new price of 500 ml Purabi Standard Milk (Green Packet) will be Rs 27 and 500 ml Purabi Smart Milk (Blue Packet) will be Rs 25.

    Purabi dairy, which has been giving its service to the people for a long time, has a variety of products including milk, ghee, curd, butter, cream, paneer and lassi.
