    PUBG game turns fatal for two youths in Assam’s Nalbari

    The bodies of two youths were recovered from a pond at Mugdi village in Mukalmuwa

    Guwahati: In a shocking incident, two youths reportedly died due to drowning while playing PUBG game over a boat in Nalbari’s Mukalmuwa area on Tuesday.

    The bodies of two youths were recovered from a pond at Mugdi village in Mukalmuwa.

    The deceased were identified as Muzaffar Ahmed (18), son of Musaddiq Ahmed, a teacher from Mukalmuwa and Rekib Uddin Ahmed (17), son of Kalimuddin Ahmed from Mugdi village block.

    As per eye-witnesses, both of them were playing PUBG game in their respective mobile phones while sitting on the edge of a country made boat, when suddenly the boat over tuned.

    Locals made a deliberate attempt to rescue the youths, however, they were declared brought dead by the doctors at the Mukalmuwa First Referral Units (FRU).

    Notably, both the deceased were the students of class XI standard.
