    Rajkumar Rao, Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘The White Tiger’ gets ‘Oscar’ nomination

    The film was submitted in 14 categories for the Oscars, which is going to be held on April 26.

    Guwahati: Rajkumar Rao and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘The White Tiger’ was nominated in the Adapted Screenplay category at the 93rd Academy awards announced on Monday evening.

    The film was submitted in 14 categories for the Oscars, which is going to be held on April 26. This year, the Oscars will be an in-person event, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

    Notably, The White Tiger picked up nominations for the BAFTA Awards 2021 as well.

    ‘The Father’, ‘Nomadlad’, ‘One Night in Miami’, along with ‘The White Tiger’, has been nominated in the adapted screenplay category.

    The WhiteTiger has been directed by Ramin Bahrani who has also adapted its screenplay from Aravind Adiga’s bestselling book of the same name. The book received the 2008 Man Booker Prize.
