    Rakibul Hussain tested COVID19 positive

    Guwahati:  Assam Congress leader Rakibul Hussain has tested positive for COVID19 on Sunday. The MLA from Samaguri confirmed about his health status in a social media post during the evening.

     Hussain’s  Facebook page post read: “I have been tested positive of Covid19 just a few minutes back. Request everyone who came in contact with me in the last 4 days to get themselves tested.”

    As per reports, his wife Nazreen Hussain and a niece have also tested positive for the virus.

    On Saturday, Assam registered 1,457 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s Covid 19 count to 41,726. At least 101 persons have died of Covid 19 too.
