“Ram is our Culture”: Yogi Adityanath in Assam

Yogi said during his visit to Kamakhya temple on Wednesday, everyone in the temple was chanting ‘Jai Sree Ram’

GUWAHATI: The chanting of ‘Jai Sree Ram’ echoed in Assam’s Hojai on Wednesday when Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath was campaigning for his party for the ensuing Assam assembly polls.

Coming down heavily on Congress for allegedly doing the politics of ‘appeasement’, Yogi Adityanath endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government for doing the politics of ‘development’ – He said that it was Ram ’s ideology of justice that drives the BJP to work for every section of people.

The UP CM said, “Ram is our culture, Ram is the symbol of honesty, strength and diversity. Ram has guided the country to an ideal state. Everyone in India is proud of Ram. Like the BJP government has completed the dream of millions of Indians to construct the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, it has also helped the Muslim women by bringing law against ‘triple talaq’,”

Yogi in his speech mentioned that when he had visited the historic Kamakhya temple on Wednesday morning before reaching Hojai and everyone in the temple was chanting ‘Jai Sree Ram’.

“Without Ram, India can’t operate. His guidance will make India the best country,” he added.

Yogi said, “Congress had divided the country by granting Article 370 to Jammu Kashmir but Modi’s government has united it again by scrapping the law. BJP government believes in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

The minister during his daylong visit also attended public rallies in Kalaigaon and Rangiya for the party.
