‘Really Blew It’: Trump Blasts ‘China-Centric’ WHO Over Coronavirus

US President Donald Trump accused WHO of bias toward China during the coronavirus pandemic

US President Donald Trump accused the World Health Organization (WHO) of being biased bias toward China during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Trump also threatened to cut US funding to the WHO and said the UN Health Organization issued bad advice during the virus outbreak.

“The WH.O really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?,” Trump said in a Twitter post.

Trump told reporters that the US is the biggest funding source of the UN body.  “We’re going to put a hold on money spent to the WHO. We will look at ending funding,” he added.
