Rescue operation of 15 miners is a huge challenge: Official

Shillong, January 10: The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Odisha fire service team, Sukant Sethi on Thursday said that the rescue operation of the 15 trapped miners is a big challenge.

It may be recalled that the miners have been trapped in a rat-hole coal mine in East Jaintia Hills since December 13,2018.

Sethi said this on his return to Bhubneswar today. He was on charge to assist to assist the 21-member team of rescuers that went to Meghalaya on December 28 last year.
