Guwahati: World Environment Day Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Kamrup Metro of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank (AGVB) organized World Environment Day along with Dimoria block officials and State Director of RSETI Pankaj Kumar Borah on Monday (June,5).
The program was conducted by RSETI (Metro), Director Rahul Dev Mahanta.
During the program, Mahanta highlighted the importance of environment and explained the theme of 2023 i.e, hashtag Beat Plastic Pollution which posses dangers to human health and all forms of life on Earth.
Meanwhile, a procession of awareness regarding environment was also taken by RSETI Director along with BPM,Dimoria Abhijit Baruah and other block officials.
The programme ended with tree saplings in the premises of Teteliya community hall under Dimoria Block.
