Search Still On In Brahmaputra To Trace Missing Girl Student’s Body

Even after 48-hour, the body of Trishna Kalita, who went missing in the Brahmaputra river near Chandrapur area of the city on June 10th, 2019, still remains untraceable.

A joint search operation is being carried out by a team of the National Disaster Response Force and State Disaster Response Force to trace the missing body of 17-year-old Trishna who along with two of her friends went for a swim in the Brahmaputra river on June 10th, 2019.

It may be mentioned, a group of five students from Chandrapur College had visited the popular picnic spot Topoban on June 10th, 2019. Out of five, three of them had gone for a swim in the Brahmaputra and went missing.

The rescue teams recovered the bodies of Ranjan Deka and Bhargav Deka later on June 10th, 2019.
