Silchar Youth drowned in picnic spot while taking bath
Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a youth from Silchar had drowned in Sindura Lake in Cachar while taking a bath.
The deceased, identified as Bishal Endaw, who was a National Highway road resident went for a picnic party with his friends to Cachar.
Reportedly, after preparing meal during the party, Endaw went to take a bath in the lake where he went missing.
His friends registered a missing diary at the Kalain Police station. Later, the Disaster Response Forces launched a search operation for 48 hours and recovered his dead body.
