Spring Cocktails Perfect for Easter parties
Easter Sunday is coming up, which means it’s almost time to bust out the egg dyeing kits, start preparing your dinner menu and assembling your family’s Easter baskets.
With the warmer weather approaching, spring is perfect for infusing fruity flavor to your favorite concoctions. What better way than with cocktails for Easter?
Here are five Easter cocktails that your family and friends will love!
Raspberry Mimosa

Easter brunch just wouldn’t be the same without mimosas! However, there’s no need to stick to the same old orange juice and champagne recipe when you can get creative! Delight your guests by adding flavorful raspberries to the standard mix.
To make these Easter cocktails, simply add a small scoop of raspberry sorbet to a champagne flute. Top with one ounce of Chambord and fill to the top with sparkling rosé. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge, then sit back and enjoy the fantastic fruity bubbles!
Grapefruit Sunrise

A grapefruit sunrise is a yet another twist on a classic cocktail recipe. This cocktail is not too tart but has just enough citrus kick to make it perfect for spring! You can serve it for brunch or well into the evening, so it is perfect for any spring soiree.
To make these cocktails for Easter, combine equal parts vodka and orange liqueur with two parts ruby red grapefruit juice. Shake well and pour over ice. Garnish with lime and grapefruit slices for the prettiest presentation.
Sparkling Orange Cocktail

Think outside the box when it comes to Easter cocktails with a refreshing sparkling orange cocktail. It’s the perfect sweet and bubbly spring drink. It is also deceptively simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
In a shaker, combine one part simple syrup with two parts vodka and four parts orange juice. Bonus points if you use freshly squeezed orange juice! Shake the mixer well and pour into a glass 1/3 of the way to the top. Pour your favorite sparkling wine over it and garnish with a fresh orange slice. This cocktail tastes lovely with anything from prosecco to Champagne.
Blue Cocktail

Easter cocktails need not only be delicious but also colorful! This blue cocktail offers something a bit unexpected when you are entertaining friends and family. To create these delightful drinks combine a tablespoon of fresh lime juice with two tablespoons each of blue curacao and vodka.
Add a quarter cup of cranberry juice cocktail and shake well. Rim a margarita glass with salt and fill with ice. Pour the cocktail over the ice and garnish with a lime twist.
Blueberry Lavender Cocktail

For a sophisticated take on cocktails for Easter, try this Blueberry Lavender cocktail. This cocktail requires a bit of advanced work as you prepare a lavender-infused simple syrup ahead of time. To do so, combine one cup each of sugar and water in a saucepan.
Add two to three tablespoons of dried lavender to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for five minutes or until the sauce thickens. Allow it to cool completely before straining into a container. Keep this simple syrup refrigerated for up to a week.
Now that your syrup is prepared you can make this wonderful cocktail! In a shaker, muddle a half cup of fresh blueberries. Add four ounces of vodka with an ounce each of elderflower syrup and simple syrup. Shake well and pour into two martini glasses. Top each with a splash of soda water and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
All five of these Easter cocktails would be sure to delight your friends and family at your next Easter party.
