Suspect behind Police bazaar blast identified, informs Meghalaya HM
Guwahati: Meghalaya home minister LahkmanRymbui informed that suspect(s) behind the Police Bazaar blast have been identified by the police.
Condemning the act, the minister further added, “I am sure that the Police will be able to nab all the people involved.”
He also assured that peace will be maintained at all cost.
Meanwhile, terming the bomb blast as a “cowardly act”, Meghalaya chief minister said that it was “an attempt to disrupt peace and bring harm”.
He said that “perpetrators will not be spared”, adding, “we will ensure peace prevails in the state”.
On Sunday evening, a bomb blast in police Bazaar area of Shillong rocked the state of Meghalaya. The blast took place near a business establishment named Delhi MisthanBhandar.
However, there were no casualties during the blast as informed by the police officials. The area was later sealed by the police and security personnel to prevent any further activities.
