The market value of the seized drugs is estimated at over Rs 12 crore, official stated.
The victim identified as Lalhruaitluanga, 34, a resident of Chhingchhip Venglai.
The incident occurred when a pickup truck travelling from Rajiv Nagar to Marpara collided with another truck in West Phaileng town in the district.
Notably, the first prize carries a cash prize of Rs 1.5 crore, Rs 1.25 crore for the second prize and Rs 1 crore for the third prize, official said.
The identities of the victims have not been revealed yet.
On Thursday, acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police raided Chite Veng locality of the state capital and nabbed the duo, recovering two .22 pistols and ammunition, officials added.
The incident took place at the Buarchep oil palm camp situated along the Assam-Mizoram border.
Various cultural programmes were held at the festival while an exhibition cum sale of local products was organised on the occasion.
