A night super bus that was travelling from the Eastern Assam side and heading toward Meghalaya was stopped early on Saturday morning, as per the official.

While interrogating Das, it was revealed that the smuggled cattle were being transported via Tezpur from Ghilamora in the Lakhimpur district to Nagaon.

According to the source, the truck had no proper documents to transport cattle and as a result the vehicle was seized.
