As per an official, the district logged 25 fresh cases of infection, followed by South Garo Hills at 10 in the last 24 hours.
Altogether 649 more patients were discharged from hospitals, raising the total number of recoveries to 7,23,399.
Currently, the state has a total of 5,605 active cases, while 682 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.
A total of 7,19,887 people have so far recovered from COVID-19 disease, including 636 recoveries reported in the past 24 hours.
The highest cases were reported from Baksa (84), Sonitpur (71), Dibrugarh (57), Goalpara (56) and Nagaon (56).
