Contraband Drugs Worth Rs 12 Crore Seized In Mizoram

The market value of the seized drugs is estimated at over Rs 12 crore, official stated.

As per sources, seized substances including methamphetamine tablets, heroin, and foreign cigarettes was smuggled from Myanmar.

The individual and the recovered items have been handed over to Police Station for further investigation.

Arrested accused identified as Abdul Salam (34), residence of Dabaka and Izazul Hoque, residence Hojai.

Based on specific information, operation was carried out and as a result and contraband was concealed in 100 soap cases, official stated.
