The incident took place on Monday at Talap Bali Baazar in the Doom Dooma area.
The school, which is located around 7 km from Imphal, caught fire at around 12.30 pm from the adjacent dried paddy field.
However, the police said that there is no report of any casualty in the fire incident.
On Thursday evening, over 150 shops were gutted in a massive fire that broke out at Jorhat Chowk Bazaar in the state.
The incident took place at Betioni village of Panitola in the district.
The blaze broke out in the Mission Chariali area where properties worth over Rs 50 lakhs were destroyed.
Several cylinders exploded due to the impact of the fire at the area, sources said. However, there was no report of human casualties.
