Assam: One killed, two forest officials injured in separate elephant attacks

In another incident, two forest guards sustained severe injuries after being attacked by wild jumbo in Marigaon village.

The incident took place at Kakojan village in the Doom Dooma area in the district.

On Thursday, at least four persons including a toddler were killed in a wild elephant attack in Assam’s Goalpara district.

After being informed, officials from the forest department arrived on the scene. The body has been sent to the hospital for post mortem.
