UPPL supporters hit the streets at Tangla in Panery constituency and even torched the effigies of BJP leaders in protest on Saturday

AGP was yet to announce its list of candidates for the upcoming poll. Bora informed that the party members would sit for a final discussion before making the announcement.

The meeting was attended by Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and other senior functionaries of State Administration, Security Agencies and Army.
