The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Yupia in Arunachal Pradesh grants bail to YouTuber Paras Singh, subject to endowing a personal bond of Rs 10,000. He has also been directed not to leave the country.
Over 30 student organizations from the northeast, key politician, and personalities from the region have come together to support the initiative.
The YouTuber was arrested from Ludhiana in Punjab late on Thursday in the case of racial remarks made against senior Congress MLA Ninong Ering
Arunachal Pradesh Police had flown to Ludhiana in Punjab to bring Paras to the state. Police would complete the legal formalities and file a chargesheet in the case.
