A decision will be taken soon to arrange a special exam for all those students who want to join government services like teaching where marksheet of class X and XII are considered vital.
The decision came after the state government accepted the recommendations of the two expert committees set up to frame modalities of evaluation of marks of HSLC and HS students
In Assam, the HSLC exam is generally held during February-March and state government could have easily conducted the exams then as the Covid situation was also normal then
AHSEC and SEBA will prepare the final result after incorporating the marks of internal assessment, practical examination and marks against theory portion as received from the respective schools
It is to be noted that an efficient committee formed by the state government will formulate the marking system
A meeting of stakeholders is scheduled at 3 pm on June 18 at the Janata Bhawan in Guwahati
