Guwahati: In a shocking incident, three youths have been brutally thrashed for allegedly stealing batteries from vehicles parked outside the houses in Sarisa village of Karimganj district on Friday.
All the three youths were tied to a pole and were mercilessly beaten up by the angry locals.
Later, they were handed over to Karimganj police.
The video of the incident went viral.
All the three youths were reportedly half-stripped and people spat on them as they kept pleading them go.
A case was registered in connection to the incident in Karimganj Sadar police station.
