GUWAHATI: Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi who has been undergoing treatment at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for his post Covid19 complications has released an audio clip on Wednesday seeking good wishes and love from the people of the state.
Gogoi, re-admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to breathing problems, was reportedly improving and currently out of danger.
Tarun Gogoi’s message to the people of Assam:
He said, “It’s due to the prayers and love of the people of Assam that I have been recovering and I would like to continue to work for the people of the state. I want everyone to keep showering their blessings so that I continue my work.”
Health officials at GMCH informed that he is currently in the ICU and his oxygen saturation level has been improving.
The three-time chief minister, Gogoi was discharged from the hospital on October 25 after he recovered from the COVID-19 infection after 60 days of treatment at GMCH.
