    Tea Tribes’ Body Slams Govt For Failing To Curb Insurgency In Tinsukia

    Gauranga Sundar Dev of the Sankar Tea Estate in Tinsukia was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified armed miscreants on October 11, 2019

    The All Assam Tea Tribes Students’ Association on October 14th, 2019, slammed the state government for its failure to curb insurgency activities in Tinsukia district. This reaction came after four days of the kidnap of the head fitter Gauranga Sundar Dev of the Sankar Tea Estate in Tinsukia district.

    Dev was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified miscreants on October 11th, 2019at around 6:30 pm. As per information, four miscreants entered the TE in camouflage uniform in search of the chief manager of the estate. But, the miscreants after failing to find the manager allegedly kidnapped the employee.
