Road connecting NH105 from Gobrahi in pathetic state
A major road which connects Gobrahi village (in Sitamarhi district) with the busy NH105 has been lying in a poor state courtesy the apathy and ineptitude of the authorities. The road which has been made under the Chief Minister’s scheme, has been in a bad shape and no concrete despite many reminders, its condition continues to be pathetic.
An agency was given Rs7 crore in 2015, to completely tar this road. They did a patchwork and subsequently nothing was done. A resident of the area told Time8, that the contractors merely resort a patch work and no concrete work is done. ‘The situation is so bad that in the rainy season no one can even ride a bicycle on this road,” the resident complained.
