Winter is almost here. Like every season, winter too brings with itself a wide variety of food options with their own health benefits. Including some kind of seasonal fruit or vegetable to the menu provide you with much-needed warmness and health benefits to deal with the season.
And what’s beyond belief is that Bollywood’s Bebo, Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen gorging on a sumptuous meal like Makke di Roti, Sarson da Saag and Makhan. The actor captured everyone’s fancy with her size zero avatar in her movie Tashan back in 2008. Since then she became the fitness guru for many fitness freaks. Her preference for yoga over gym sessions inspired many to switch to the spiritual and ascetic discipline.
Kareena started shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha in Chandigarh alongside Aamir Khan. After the shoot, she enjoyed the ‘kick-off’ party in a desi way, pics of which are making rounds on social media and we can’t keep calm.
The actor, in her late 30s, is considered one of the fittest actors of Bollywood. But it is also true that she is a self-confessed foodie. For many of us, loving food and being fit cannot go hand. Then what’s the secret behind Bebo’s toned and fit body?
In a recent post, Bebo’s nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar-known for encouraging traditional, homegrown local food- took to Instagram to share deets of Kareena’s latest desi spread in Punjab. Rujuta gave Bebo’s fans an idea of how she maintains a balance in her diet. Kareena eats healthy but never compromises on her delicious desi cravings. She was seen gorging on Sarson da Saag, Makke di Roti and a bowl of Makhan… Slurp!
Changing your diet with the season and following a diet that includes some kind of seasonal delicacy is the best thing you can do to your body. The actor’s nutritionist Rujuta also ensures that Bebo retains all the good things of our desi produce and not get lost in the process of eating soup-salad or not eating at all.
The Veere di Wedding actor was seen unleashing her ‘Main Apni Favourite Hoon‘ side to stuff herself with Punjab’s traditional platter.
Rujuta also highlighted the importance of being healthy and not fixing any size for the human body. She wrote, “Health is not a size, it’s a state. A state of harmony, in the mind and body and between people and planet. And really, all you need to do for that is to keep calm and eat makhan-roti-saag.”
