    Tripura Congress informed this in a notification recently with the direction of newly elected PCC president and former MLA Birajit Sinha.

    Agartala: Tripura Pradesh Congress on Wednesday initiated disciplinary action against four senior leaders of the party and expelled them for alleged anti-party activities.

    In an official notification issued by Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) informed that the former PCC president Pijush Kanti Biswas, former vice-president Tapas Dey, and senior leaders Tejan Das and Purnita Chakma were expelled from primary membership of Congress party for a span of six years with immediate effect.

    The general secretary of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Partha Pratim Sarkar informed this in a notification recently with the direction of newly elected PCC president and former MLA Birajit Sinha.
