Guwahati: At a time when the Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine here at Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) on the first day of the ‘Bohag’ month, several Twitterati took to Twitter demanding the immediate cancelation of HSLC/AHM examinations 2021 due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in the state.
A few of them also questioned him over the alleged shortage in COVID-19 vaccines in the state.
Informing about his second dose, Himanta tweeted saying, “I took my second dose of #COVID19 Vaccine vaccine today! I request all those who are eligible for vaccination to take their dose on time. Assam is all geared up to ensure vaccination to all eligible. Together, we shall win this battle against the pandemic.”
Assam Cabinet Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on March 2, 2021.
