Two Mizoram women held with heroin stuffed in teddy bear

Guwahati, January 6: The Jalandhar (Rural) Police in Punjab have arrested four persons including two Mizoram woman after recovering 2 kg of heroin hidden in a teddy bear and tetra pack juice from their vehicle.

The four of them were held by the police during a special nakabandi near Adda Bidhipur railway crossing.

They have been identified as Amir Ali (30) of Tilak Nagar Delhi, Maphiue (40) of Aizwal, Chauthatgpuii (30) of Aizwal and Ohas Ugo (20) of Nigeria (presently residing in Nawada, Delhi).

The operation was led by Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural), Navjot Singh Mahal, accompanied by SP (Investigation) Balkar Singh, Kartarpur DSP Digvijay Kapil, and DSP (Special Branch), BIS, Kahlon.
