    Two NDFB-S Cadres Killed In Gun Battle At Gossaigaon

    Police recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession

    Two NDFB-S militants were killed during a cross-firing with a team of police on October 31st, 2019 at Gossaigaon in Assam’s Kokrajhar district.

    As per information available, acting on a tip-off, a team of police reached Basabil under Saraibil Police Outpost of Gossaigaon. The team launched the operation at around 7 pm. During the operation, the police team confronted the two cadres who were killed following a massive gun-battle.

    The killed militants were not identified till the filing of this report. Police recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession.
