Guwahati: In yet another crusade of war against drugs, Assam police on Wednesday recovered two suitcases full of ganja in Karimganj district of the state.

Two traffickers were also arrested in connection with the case. They have been identified as Debjani Sarkar (mother) and Rasen Sarkar (son).

Reportedly, the mother-son duo was bringing the drugs to Guwahati from Tripura.

Based on specific input, police launched an operation and arrested the alleged traffickers with the drugs.
