Veteran Cyclist on his way to Guwahati from Tinsukia to meet Abhi-Nil’s Parents


Guwahati/Samaguri, June 24: Bhupen Likson, a veteran record-holder cyclist is on his way to Guwahati to submit a memorandum before CM Sonowal demanding proper punishment for the culprits of the Karbi Anglong Lynching incident.

Likson is on his way from Jagun under Tinsukia district in Upper Assam to meet the parents of Abhijeet and Nilotpal who died in a mob lynching incident in Karbi Anglong on June 8.

On Sunday morning, he reached Puranigudam in Nagaon and spoke to TIME8.

Likson said that while he is demanding strict punishment for the culprits, he is also trying to spread the message of love and communal harmony among various people he is meeting during the journey.
