    Want to maintain a healthy life? Here’s some simple TIPS

    It is important that we get enough sleep, stay physically active and take a good care of ourselves – mind, body and soul

    During last couple of months we have been forced to spend all our time because of the on-going pandemic. However, staying indoors for such a long time can effect out mind and body negatively. It is important that we get enough sleep, stay physically active and take a good care of ourselves – mind, body and soul.

    But maintaining a good health does not happen by accident. It requires work, smart lifestyle choices, and the occasional check up and tests.

    Here are some TIPS to maintain a healthy life:

    Staying Active

    Stay in your bed, binge watch while munching on snacks is probably the most favorite thing which all of us loves to do and not get bored! But this way of living may affect our health, make us lazy and we might become prone to disease.

    It is important for us to stay active – physically and mentally. We can do that by sparing a few minutes into exercise. Exercise doesn’t have to mean taking part in a team sport or spending lots of money into expensive equipment. It can be something very simple which we enjoy doing like – walking, dancing, jogging, swimming, cycling, skipping and many more.

    We can also try yoga and practice meditation for at least 10-15 minutes to calm our mind and keep negative thoughts at bay.

    Eat a balanced and nutritious diet

    Cooking may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but that does not mean we resort to eating only cup noodles canned food or rely on take outs. We can start by avoiding heavy meals as they can cause bloating and indigestion and eat small portions of healthy meals throughout the day to maintain a healthy immune system.

    We can include plenty of fruits, veggies, proteins and whole grains in our diet. It is important to get a balance in our diet of the right amount of each food group.

    While eating healthy foods we must also not forget that a balanced diet also includes drinks. Our body needs to stay hydrated to be healthy.

    Focus on self-care

    Self-care has taken a backseat during the lockdown period. Great skin is not simply a matter of DNA – your daily habits, in fact, have a big impact on what you see in the mirror.

    However, putting on a sheet mask or following your CTM routine isn’t just about beautifying your skin. Spending some time alone and pampering yourself can instantly relax you and put you in a good mood.

    Rely on Trustworthy Sources

    In today’s generation, everybody is dependent on social media. Information, that we receive, comes from the social media. But it is important that we trust only reliable sources and ignore messages that cloud our mind with negative thoughts.
