GUWAHATI: A video of an entire community pulling up a truck from a deep gorge in Nagaland has gone viral on social media.
Though everyone had posted the video on their social media accounts applauding the effort of the people on various platforms, no one could identify the location and the people who were doing a tremendous job.
But, don’t worry! TIME8 has found the details of the entire story.
The people in the video were tribal Naga villagers of Ketsapo village in Nagaland’s Phek district pulling out a truck from a steep ditch.
Hundreds of men from the village performed an amazing feat as they pulled out a truck from a gorge using only bare hands and ropes.
As per locals, the truck, carrying ginger, had met with an accident and fallen into a gorge. The driver luckily escaped major injuries. With no machinery available to drag the truck out, the villagers decided to use their determination and strength to do the job.
