The Meghalaya tourism department is coming up with the Ri Khain Autumn Festival 2019 which is scheduled to be held on November 1st – 2nd, 2019 in Markham village located near Tiehnongbah Lummurok viewpoint, West Khasi Hills district.
The festival is all about soaking in the tribal flavours that West Khasi hills have to offer. You can treat your taste buds with local cuisines, expand your knowledge on the heritage of the Khasi tribe with their folk tales, everything fancy like kite flying and fashion shows and much more in just one place. The best part of the festival will be the backdrop of undulating mountains and the picturesque Markham village.
