Women with ‘Hawai Chappal’ take away the sleep of BJP and CM in Tripura: TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee

Agartala: All India Trinamool Congress general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee on Sunday claimed that much remained to be done in order to form a strong base of Trinamool Congress organization in Tripura.

Addressing a public gathering at the premises of Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan here in Agartala city on Sunday, Banerjee assured the people of Tripura the mistakes of the party in the year 2016 shall not be repeated again.

Banerjee also assured that he along with his party team will stay here in Tripura during the 2023 assembly election to make a strong base here in the state.

Not only that, he further confirmed to the people of Tripura that the TMC supremo and West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit the state and hold a public gathering at Swami Vivekananda Maidan (Astabal Ground) here in Agartala by December next.

On Sunday’s public rally, Banerjee also stated that the women wearing ‘Hawai Chappal’ has taken away the sleep of BJP and Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.

“Just like the double dosages of COVID-19 vaccination, the Trinamool Congress will give the first dose during the ensuing urban local bodies election on November 25 and second dose on the assembly election in 2023,” said AITC general secretary.

He further claimed that if the proper voting rights were exercised then the BJP would not be found in Tripura even with a microscope.
